Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to how Clickodome operates. This policy explains what information we collect (very little), how we handle it (responsibly), and what rights you have (many). We designed our platform with privacy as a core architectural principle.

Last Updated: March 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Clickodome ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit and use our website at clickodome.com ("Platform"). Clickodome is a free browser games entertainment platform. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform and governs the collection, use, and protection of information in connection with your use of our services.

Introduction

Clickodome was built with a privacy-first philosophy. Unlike most digital platforms, we made deliberate architectural decisions to minimize the amount of information associated with your use of our services. The most important thing to understand about Clickodome's approach to privacy is this: we do not require accounts, we do not collect personal information, and we do not track your behavior.

Our platform uses your browser's localStorage API as the sole mechanism for storing data related to your experience. localStorage is a browser-based storage technology that keeps data entirely on your device. We never transmit, access, collect, or process this data — it exists only on your computer, tablet, or phone and is under your complete control.

This Privacy Policy is intended to be transparent, understandable, and honest. If you have any questions about our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].

Information We Collect

Clickodome collects minimal information. We have designed our platform specifically to avoid collecting personal data. Here is a comprehensive breakdown of our data practices:

Information Stored Locally (localStorage)

The following information is stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it:

Age Verification Status

A simple flag indicating that you have confirmed you are 18 years or older. This is stored so the age verification prompt does not appear on every visit.

Game Data

Your scores, personal records, daily streak counts, and game-specific progress data. This allows you to track your own performance over time.

Preferences

Any display or interaction preferences you set while using the Platform, such as theme preferences or interface settings.

Daily Challenge Logs

Records of which daily challenges you have completed to maintain your streak counter and prevent duplicate completions on the same day.

Information We Do NOT Collect

To be explicitly clear, Clickodome does not collect any of the following:

  • Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
  • IP addresses or geolocation data
  • Browsing history or behavior tracking data
  • Financial or payment information of any kind
  • Social media profiles or identifiers
  • Device fingerprints or unique device identifiers
  • Biometric data
  • Contacts, photos, or any data from your device

Since we do not require user accounts and have no registration process, there is no mechanism through which we would collect or store personal information on our servers.

How We Use Information

Because all user data is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers, our use of your information is extremely limited. The localStorage data exists solely to:

Maintain Your Experience. LocalStorage data preserves your game progress, scores, and preferences between visits so you do not have to start fresh each time you access the Platform. This is purely for your convenience and enjoyment.

Enforce Age Requirements. The age verification flag in localStorage ensures that the age confirmation prompt is shown only on your first visit, rather than every time you access the Platform.

Track Daily Challenges. LocalStorage records which daily challenges you have completed to maintain accurate streak counts and prevent duplicate completions within the same calendar day.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the core entertainment functionality of the Platform. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade any user information because we do not possess any user information to sell.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

Clickodome uses localStorage rather than traditional cookies for storing user preferences and game data. LocalStorage is a browser-based technology that stores data as key-value pairs on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not automatically sent to the server with each HTTP request.

No Tracking Cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any cookie-based technology designed to monitor your behavior across websites or sessions.

No Third-Party Cookies. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels, advertising networks, or analytics services that place cookies on your device.

Essential Functionality Only. The only client-side storage used by Clickodome is localStorage, and it is used exclusively for the essential functionality described in Section 2 of this Policy — age verification, game data, preferences, and daily challenge tracking.

For a more detailed explanation of our cookie and storage practices, please visit our dedicated Cookie Policy page.

Third Parties

Clickodome is committed to keeping your experience private and self-contained. Our approach to third parties is straightforward:

No Data Sharing. We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user information to third parties. Since we do not collect personal information in the first place, there is no data to share.

No Advertising Networks. Clickodome does not participate in advertising networks and does not allow third-party advertisers to place ads, tracking pixels, or cookies on our Platform.

No Analytics Services. We do not use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar tools that would track your behavior on our Platform.

External Links. Our Platform may contain links to external websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. When you leave Clickodome by clicking an external link, this Privacy Policy no longer applies and you should review the privacy policy of the destination site.

Legal Requirements. In the unlikely event that we are required by law, legal process, or governmental request to disclose information, we would comply with applicable Canadian law. However, since we do not collect or store personal user data on our servers, we would have no meaningful information to disclose.

Data Retention

Since all user data is stored in your browser's localStorage and never on our servers, data retention is entirely under your control. Here is what you need to know:

On Your Device. LocalStorage data persists in your browser until you manually clear it or your browser clears it. This data remains available across browsing sessions and browser restarts, but it is specific to the browser and device you used. Data stored in Chrome on your laptop, for example, will not appear in Safari on your phone.

Clearing Your Data. You can clear all Clickodome data at any time through your browser's settings. Typically, this is found under Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data > Local Storage (or Site Data). Clearing this data will reset your game scores, streaks, preferences, and age verification status.

On Our Servers. We retain no personal user data on our servers. Standard web server logs (which may include IP addresses and request timestamps) are automatically generated by our hosting infrastructure and are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes only. These logs are not associated with individual users and are not used for tracking or profiling.

Your Rights

We respect your rights regarding your personal information. Under applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have certain rights regarding personal information. However, since Clickodome does not collect or store personal information on our servers, many of these rights are inherently satisfied by our platform design:

Right to Access. All your data is stored locally in your browser and is already fully accessible to you. You can view localStorage data through your browser's developer tools.

Right to Correction. Since data is stored on your device, you have full control to modify or correct any stored values through your browser's developer tools or settings.

Right to Deletion. You can delete all Clickodome data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data. This action is immediate and permanent.

Right to Data Portability. Your localStorage data can be exported through your browser's developer tools if you wish to save or transfer it.

Right to Object. Since we do not process personal data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond the basic functionality of the Platform, there is no processing to object to.

If you have questions or concerns about your rights or our data practices, please contact us at [email protected].

Children's Privacy

Clickodome is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly provide services to, or collect information from, children under the age of 18. Our age verification system is designed to prevent minors from accessing the Platform.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has accessed Clickodome, please contact us at [email protected]. Since we do not collect personal information, no child data would exist on our servers. However, we can provide guidance on clearing any localStorage data that may have been created during their visit.

We are committed to complying with all applicable laws regarding children's online privacy, including the Canadian framework for protecting the personal information of minors. Our platform's design — requiring no accounts and collecting no personal data — is intentionally aligned with the highest standards of children's privacy protection.

Changes to This Policy

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

For material changes that significantly affect your privacy rights, we will make reasonable efforts to provide prominent notice on the Platform. However, it remains your responsibility to check this Policy periodically for updates.
